Totally mixed up! Selling a book by both using both the "Library" (i.e. complete) argument and "Best of" in the title is ... not smart. If it's not complete, why write it in capital letters on the front cover?!??!!! And the colors - it simply looks cheap. And the starfish on the cover... what are they? No, I don't like this; I don't like the vibes of that cover and I feel very sad that it (apparently, judging from the cover) will be an incomplete work. /Germund
my understanding is that it will be complete except for the material that Disney says can not be reprinted. So it's not complete, but the most complete that it could be (baring a complete change at Disney)
Irrespective of whether you like our title or cover design (yoicks!), I've got a bit of additional bad new: the Gottfredson Library has been postponed for the moment, most likely until next year. Barnes and Noble and Amazon should update soon to reflect this situation. They may, as Amazon has in the past, simply remove the listing until we can give them the new low-down. We're not sure why Barnes and Noble picked this moment to suddenly illustrate our dummy cover. They should have already known that the volume was "on hold." Thuh nerve o' them swabs (hey, who let Pete in here?) I'll give all of you more information when I get it. At least we'll have plenty of other Gottfredson reprints this year, including the 1931 "Mickey Mouse, Boxing Champion" in WDC&S, "Death Valley" in WALT DISNEY TREASURES and most likely another story starting in WDC&S before the end of the year.
Let's hope everything works out with the Gottfredson books. Even if they won't be complete and uncensored they will be a welcome addition to my bookshelf.

Er, read "news" for "new" in that first sentence. I'm obviously losing it.
