More stunning artwork by Alex Raymond from "Enter: The Mangler" 1946.

The artwork above were taken from shrunk, cut up versions that were re-mounted for publication in the 90's. But still...

Joakim Gunnarsson said...: Actually the re-monted proofs I found also had the balloons re-drawn. So Raymond should not be blamed here. :) His placement of balloons was better. Especially when you compare the original version of the fourth panel in the 1946-09-16 daily, with the one seen here. In the swedish version it looks like Honey is talking through her ... butt. :); 6 March 2013 at 15:04
