With the market over flooded with vintage Gasoline Alley dailies by Frank King the collectors tend to stay calm and only go high for really nice pieces. An OK Gasoline Alley daily usually sells for $100-200. A superb and exceptional piece can hit $1000 or slightly more.
This one sold for $ 25,875.00 [sic!] yesterday.
Now, this is the second daily featuring Skeezix.
But still ...
The third Skeezix daily sold a while ago for $1,940.
What a bargain. :)
Just to show you what I think is a top Gasoline Alley daily, look at this:
One of my all time favorite Frank King pieces. Beautiful, isn't it.
(Enlarge and read it. The text is just as good as the artwork.)

For the Christmas issue of Eppo we are desperately looking for post 1980 Sunday gags with Christmas. Or just one will do. Do you have any in the Egmond reprint series?
Reprint series of what? Gasoline Alley? No G.A. in our/Egmont's archives or reprint titles.
As Germund said we have no GA in our archives. Nor do I have any post 1980 GA in my private collection.Sorry.
The "Moonshine" strip is brilliant, must be one of the best newspaper strips ever. It must have been so ahead of its time?
Sorry, I meant beetle Bailey...
Strippen tecknad i motljus är mycket riktigt fantastisk. Jag slog förstås upp den i Walt & Skeezix-boken och där såg den tyvärr inte alls lika bra ut...
