My friend Karl-Erik just sent me two images from
his collection of original art.
Now, here's a (maybe not so tricky) question:
What's veeeery wrong with one of these pieces?

The anatomy on the lower pic is completely bonkers, but I don't know if that's evidence that it's fake.
Is the phone really plugged in?
It seems like the perspective of the door is off.
The second one is CLEARLY a fake-- and a bad one at that! I feel sorry for your friend...
Although I'm very jealous that he owns the first one! It's one of my favorite DeCarlo Humoramas...
The second one seems like a tracing. The lines are not eve continues in some places. And I don't think DeCarlo sketched his lines this way.
See, it was too easy. :)
Karl-Erik knows that the second one is a fake, but enjoys having it in his collection anyway.
A fake Dan DeCarlo is rarer than a real, ya know. :)
LOL, bad feet!
Actually, I feel the feet could be excused as a stylistic trait, but the waist / breast combination is not only sloppily done, but also has proportions only Rob Leiefeld attempts to pull off.
And her left arm seems to only be half the size of her right. Sure, her muscles are stretched somewhat, but I don't think the phone is heavy enough to warrant the differenct.
